comm-vis-logo-ahs-colour  Participating in the Biobank

You are invited to participate in the Alberta Cancer Research Biobank (ACRB), which is operated by Alberta Health Services.  A biobank is a collection of biological samples, including blood and tissue, which are donated for use in medical research.  The ACRB collects all types of samples (normal, benign or cancerous) as all samples are immensely valuable for research.

The goal of the ACRB is to support research which will advance our understanding and treatment of cancer and other health conditions across the continuum of patient care.  Your participation is entirely voluntary and will not affect your medical care in any way.  Please discuss with your doctor, friends or family if you wish, and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
